Our team is made up of professional fun-makers, and we're seeking a dynamic individual to join us as the General Manager, directly reporting to the CEO, founder, & owner.

Job Description: General Manager

​

Hours of Work: Full Time (40 hours/week)         

Compensation: Starting at $25+/hour based on experience                     
 

Key Responsibilities:​

 

General Team Leadership

  • Leads, manages, holds the team accountable

  • Follows up with and resolves client complaints

  • Weekly team newsletter sent out every Monday

  • Celebrates birthdays for team

 

Finance

  • Accounts Payable, POs, overdue invoices

 

HR

  • Hiring

  • Firing

  • On-Boarding

  • Off-Boarding

  • Time Off Requests

  • Tracks Employee Benefits

  • Employee Performance Reviews

 

HQ Management

  • Repairs/maintenance (air filters, etc)

  • Fire extinguishers

  • Smoke Detectors 

  • Ensure a well-maintained work environment; keeping the entire workspace clean and organized; including planning for general maintenance as needed.

  • Bathroom Cleaning

  • Fridge/Freezer Clean Out

  • General Supply Ordering + Pick-Up

  • Water Service

Client Communication

  • Company Email Management

  • Google Listing Management

 

On-Call Responsibilities:

  • Be the rotating point of contact for on-call emergencies and needs, including outside of regular work hours (with compensation), ensuring seamless operations even during unexpected situations.

 

Additional Essential Skills:

​

All Young + Wild team members, regardless of role, are cross-trained in the following for special projects:

  • Balloon Inflating

    • Assist Installers and Countess with balloon inflating as needed.

  • Balloon Assembly

    • Assist in inflation and assembly balloon projects, garlands, etc. with precision and creativity, bringing our designs to life as needed.

  • Balloon Installation

    • Execute balloon installations with precision, bringing our clients' visions to life on weekdays as needed.
