Magical Ice Princess Birthday

A few weeks ago, we celebrated my daughter Elodie’s third birthday! Although I pulled it together pretty last minute, I had a blast doing it. She’s is totally obsessed with Disney’s Frozen and is convinced that she is Elsa, so naturally we threw the most festive Frozen fiesta we could to celebrate my princess’s birthday. It was the most magical celebration! At points I may have even teared up a little. From the gorgeous sweets from Sugar Rush, to the magic brought by Elsa herself and everything in between, it was a party we will never forget.

We rented HighLife Studios in Old Towne East. When I toured the space, I knew we had to do something extra-special with the balloons. I ended up making a castle fit for an ice princess, and had garlands around our Alpha-Lit Columbus number 3 with custom lilac bulbs. We also had a garland about our food table in coordinating colors, and the most perfect snowflake mylar balloons filled with helium to adorn the tables.

We also hired Miranda from A Dream Come True to come and provide the entertainment for the party. She did not disappoint! She came completely outfitted as Elsa, with the most magical entrance into the party. She also provided entertainment through games, singing, dancing and story time, as well as several special surprises for the birthday girl. There were points that I may have been tearing up during her time at the party. We can’t say enough good things about A Dream Come True and look forward to having her at our next celebration!

Our cake and cupcakes were so much more beautiful than I could have even imagined. Mandy from Sugar Rush Columbus took my vision and made it even better. We did confetti cupcakes with butter cream frosting and custom toppers from Ella Designed Parties. The cake was chocolate and truly soooo moist and delicious too! We also had delicious donuts from The Neighborhood Nest.

After Elsa left the party, we played snow-themed games and had two crafts for the kids to do. They each got to make a charm bracelet and a Christmas ornament.

On the way out, each honored guest received a goodie bag with a magic want and a custom Frozen themed sensory dough jar from Splendid Box Co.

Altogether, the day couldn’t have been more memorable. I’m grateful for the friends and family that came to celebrate our girl and all of the special memories we made. I am also especially grateful for Katie at Live Pretty Darling and her talent capturing the day. We will treasure these photos and memories for years to come.
