A couple weeks ago we celebrated 3 years of Young + Wild Balloon Co the best way we know how, party!! This business has grown to what it is today because of the amazing community surrounding it and I love being able to say thank you for the constant support by throwing a big bash. I say it often, but it’ll never be enough— my party animals are the best! This year we went with a disco cowgirl theme and seeing everyone arrive in their themed outfits was a dream come true.
This year's party was hosted at The Wenbeck at Little Bear Golf Club. I fell in love with the venue when I was there setting up for a cheerleading banquet. I've since done weddings, bridal showers and surprise birthdays in the beautiful space! Skylar is the event coordinator and an absolute joy. She helped to make sure everything we needed was taken care of leading up to the event and on the day.
The space was perfect for our party! The glass garage doors opened to show off the gorgeous golf course surroundings. The large patio on the back looks over a picturesque pond where we had the bar and marquee letters. We worked with the team to create two signature cocktails served at the bar. They were exactly what we envisioned!
My friend Dana at Joy Lane Florals created the glam centerpieces for the tables with flower filled disco balls. The little touches of textures really helped pull the whole thing together.
As soon as the theme of the party was decided we knew we had to rent the gorgeous pink couch and pale pink bar from Aiden & Grace. On the bar we had more florals, disco ball drink stirrers, and our signature drink menu.
A party isn't complete without a photo booth! Gisselle at Baci Booths has the best backdrops and the one we chose for the party perfectly fit the theme! The thing I love most about Baci Booths is the variety of options you have when you step up to the photo booth screen. You can take boomerangs, gifs, or traditional photo booth photos. Guests can text the photos straight to their phone after taking them!
No event is complete without a swag bag and you know I love a fanny pack! Each guest left with a holographic fanny pack with my logo full of goodies from some of my favorite businesses. I worked with the always amazing Abigail at Ohiowa Promo to pick the perfect bag.
She also created the color changing cups that guests used to sip their signature cocktails with the disco dancing balloon dog. We can't forget one of the biggest hits from the party, the custom bandanas! The print Y+W Magic Maker Katie designed had balloon dogs and disco balls throughout. There was an area for everyone to bedazzle their bandanas and I loved seeing everyone's creativity!
The atmosphere wouldn't be complete without the country tunes and DJ Dayna made it happen!
It's never a party without Roosters!! We. love. Roosters. so we had a variety of our favorites like wings and nachos.
The adorable Chilljoy Frozen Treatery truck was parked serving up cool treats on the hot day! From ice cream to shave ice, everyone was so happy to dive into the yummy offerings.
I couldn't have done any of this without the Young + Wild team!! Over the past year I have been able to hire an entire team that helps keep everything moving and your events looking amazing!
